Wear on these days

Plan a full wind at each put-away. Wearing time alone does not establish a full reserve.

Friday 18:00 to Monday 08:00 is 62 hours. With a four-hour reserve buffer, an 80-hour watch has 14 hours left before the buffered deadline. A 41-hour watch passes its buffered deadline after 37 hours, on Sunday at 07:00. Both start fully wound.

How the plan works

Each selected day is one wear period. Put-away at or before pickup means the next day. Every put-away is a deliberate full-wind checkpoint; no extra winding is credited to wrist movement. Follow the exact watch’s manual for how to wind it.

The plan checks every gap through the next wear, including the gap into the following week. The reserve buffer is your planning allowance, not a manufacturer promise. A gap at or beyond the buffered reserve needs attention. “Let it stop” gives a pickup task; “Keep it running” gives full-wind checkpoints spaced by the buffered reserve. A zero buffer puts those deadlines at the stated reserve limit, so wind before them. No watch winder is assumed.

Times are a repeating local week of seven 24-hour days. Recheck travel and daylight-saving changes separately. Reserve applies to a fully wound mechanical movement; use an observed shorter runtime if that better represents your watch. Quartz and solar power routines belong to their own manuals.
